Friday Forum: Matt Pessoni

EMC alumnus and co-founder of Gemini Production Group, Matthew Pessoni, revisited his alma mater on Friday to host the latest installment of EMC’s Friday Forum. 

Pessoni shared his story of starting a business with his twin brother Scott in a period of economic recession and the struggles there within. His determination to succeed, however, has lead Gemini Production Group to multiple Emmy and Telly awards.

He expressed that there are many production job opportunities available in the Nashville area and that very often the most qualified prospects come from MTSU. Pessoni suggests ways to set yourself apart from the crowd involve having a developed demo reel of your work and always having your own business card readily available and to take advantage of the technology you have access to.
