OBJECTIVE
To solve a real-world problem using current user experience design techniques and technology.
DESCRIPTION
Over the course of the semester, you will create the design for a mobile application that is useful, accessible, and intuitive. You will research an audience for the application, determine their needs through methods of discovery, build a prototype, and test it for usability and accessibility.
The project will be divided into smaller assignments with the end goal of a working prototype that you can use in your portfolio.
PROJECT ELEMENTS
- Problem Analysis – 300 points
- Project Plan – 200 points
- Preliminary Design – 200 points
- User Testing Plan – 150 points
- Prototype – 500 points

Points will be awarded for each subproject to total 1350 points.
