Prototype

Objective

Develop skills in creating design prototypes using industry-standard tools. 

Description

You will develop an interactive prototype of your project design. This should be as realistically functional as you can make it without using a “backend” such as a database. (You will probably need to create high-fidelity mockups of some screens, such as a signup flow or confirmation screen.)

You will create the prototype using Figma. There is a Figma mobile app to view an interactive prototype. This will facilitate testing with your target audience.

Project Deliverables

  • Execute an interactive prototype of your designed solution.
  • Test the prototype (using the User Testing Plan you created) with members of your project audience.
  • Adjust the design of the prototype based on your usability test results.
  • Present the prototype to the class (during the final exam period.)

Evaluation

Points will be awarded based on adherence to the Project Deliverables, Deliverable Formatting, and Due Dates.
