Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee – Nashville – ???

Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee’s (GSMIDTN) mission is to provide all girls opportunities that encourage positive relationships, action-oriented leadership, and meaningful service that genuinely influences others.

  • Online Video – The areas we would like to focus on are:
    • Girl Scout recruitment video
    • Summer camp promotion
    • Thank you video for funders
    • A video highlighting Girl Scout Honors day
    • Development of a video for our annual luncheon.
  • Has Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
    • Facebook – Last video on Sept 8, 2021 – shot on phone, blurry, bad audio
    • Twitter – no video
    • Instagram – Various videos, Last video on Sept 8, 2021, posting the pre-produced video, lots of phone video, some boomerangs

NOTES: Primarily a video project with social media crossover. Will need training on how to regularly create videos. Needs a social video strategy. Videos should be appropriate for online and embedding.

 

Read to Succeed – ???

Read To Succeed is a literacy non-profit organization in Middle Tennessee seeking to improve lives in Rutherford County by offering free literacy programs and events for adults and children.

  • Online Video – We have only one fundraiser per year and want to provide compelling videos that convey what the adult learner and tutor do to move toward the goal and why the learner chose to move forward.
    • To show what the literacy programs within the schools mean to the children and families.
    • How important the culturally relevant book clubs are to high school students.
    • Used to help us find volunteers since all tutoring is done via volunteers.
    • Used to spread the word that we are here and want to change someone’s life through literacy.
  • Social Media – Has Twitter and Facebook
    • Twitter – no video but very regular, current tweets
    • Facebook – many videos – most current, December 9, 2021 – quality varies; lots of handheld phone video, some vertical format, most with poor audio quality – live stream on Nov. 4, 2021 – promos for spelling appear to be handheld phone recording with poor sound

Rutherford County Safe Baby Court – James Clark & Jackson Greene

Voluntary program for families that have become involved with the Department of Children’s Services and the Juvenile Court System.

  • Website – No current website. They want their website to demonstrate credibility, explain what they do, share information. The audience is current and future client families
  • Online Video – No current video. showcasing success stories. For website, maybe social media.
  • Social Media – has Facebook and Instagram; would like Twitter. Could use a needs analysis, best practices, and recommendations.

NOTES: Large project appropriate for a two-person team. The project should include training in all aspects.

 

MTSU Student Health Services – Coral Tiano &Arthur Trusov

“The mission of MTSU Student Health Services is to ensure delivery of affordable, accessible and high-quality health care integrated with the promotion of lifelong wellness for MTSU students.”

  • Online Video – engaging content to be shared across social media and used in University 101 health courses.
    • “Ask a Doc”, talking head, frequently asked questions about college health topics. (Instagram Reel, TikTok series?)
    • COVID vaccination
    • choosing a birth control
    • mental health promotion
    • vaping, the importance of preventive healthcare
    • healthy eating on a budget.
    • Has grant funding available to cover:
      • food and nutrition content
      • alcohol and cannabis content
      • HIV prevention content.
    • Social Media – Needs a strategy that includes video content.

Wee Care Day Care – Maddie Gepford & Drew Hutcheson

Non-profit that provides care for eligible children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age

  • Website – No current website. A website will help us with credibility, branding and can lead to more enrollment. We will be able to provide updates and announcements and promote organic traffic, which will help us show up on Google search results and increase our enrollment base.
  • Social Media – Has a new Facebook page – The last post is December 15, 2021 – first post is April 29, 2021; Lots of photos! No video.

NOTES: Large project appropriate for a two-person team. The project should include training in all aspects.

 

Kymari House, Inc. – Daniel Berry

Non-profit that provides court-ordered, supervised visitation services for families to heal and begin the rebuilding process from various traumas and separations.

  • Social Media:  Improve Social Media presence and impact.
    • Review Facebook page for improvements,
    • Introduce/create other Social Media accounts to help improve visibility.
    • Training staff on Social Media operations.
  • Online Video: Create an/or several online videos for Kymari House.
    • A video that introduces Kymari House.
    • A video that can be used to bring awareness to the services offered by Kymari House.
    • A video that can be forwarded to donors to tell them more about Kymari House.
  • Website:  Want Website Redesign. Analyze for a redesign of the existing website. We would appreciate an update of the webpage and support in making sure the leadership staff receives training on how to keep the website up to date and functional.

Last Call for Grace – Jetavius Newbell

A non-profit organization that uses feeding services to attract people to their ministry mission

  • Website – MANY content issues. The site has very little content about feeding; few pages, bad content without mention of feeding, meals, etc. May need Google Analytics to investigate traffic. The website is WordPress.
  • Social Media – Good Facebook; need to investigate if other channels would be appropriate for the audience. Would like the student to develop a platform where we can increase our audience with more social media outlets. Need analysis, best practice, and recommendations – then implementation of the plan.
  • Facebook is the main media stream.  Link to page. Recently had the 10th anniversary in October and you will see us boosting support for our anniversary.
  • As far as social media and the website are concerned we can provide photos to redesign our platform.

NOTES: A good, substantial project for one person. A small organization that will need training.

 

TNVO Studios –  Livi Crum

Voice-over studio located in the Film House building, Nashville.

  • Social media – has established accounts but needs a plan to manage them
    • Social media links on the website are all broken
    • Facebook – page created in October 2021; regular, frequent posting – cross-posted from Instagram; has a related MeetUp and FBGroup Tennessee Voice Over Exchange (T-VOE); has some videos on Facebook
    • Twitter: no account for TNVO; the owner has personal account @ChristiBowenVO;
    • Instagram – cross-posting to Facebook
    • LinkedIn – personal profile instead of Company page; page created in October 2021;
  • Online Video – Has equipment to create; the owner was a video producer. Needs ideas
    • Videos on Instagram and Facebook; cross-posts from Insta to FB; look to be Canva videos, one phone video; one edited Christmas video

NOTES: A good, substantial project for one person.
