LinkedIn is the go-to social media channel for professionals and job seekers. It’s a great place to make connections with peers and colleagues and to stay up to date on the latest trends in your industry. Just received this in my email from Freelancers Union. The post, “The Freelancer’s Guide to Getting Found Online” is a helpful reminder for all job seekers, whether freelance, employee or internship.

A few key take aways:

  • Speed up you site on mobile
  • Start a blog

And some tips on great blog posts…

  • Provides a solution.
  • Educates the reader.
  • Covers the topic/answers the question thoroughly.
  • Uses data and expert insights to back up all claims.
  • Lets your expertise shine.
