Introduction to Podcasting is a new course being offered at MTSU beginning fall of 2016.

Despite the title, the course will seek to cover all facets of podcasting including:

• Platform building
• Content creation
• Personal branding
• Internet marketing
• Hosting and Interviewing
• Monetizing
• Recording and Audio Production
• And more…

…as well as attempt to instill an appreciation for podcasting’s past, while taking a critical but optimistic look at the future of audio on demand.

EMC 4950 – Introduction to Podcasting is offered through podcast coach, consultant and mentor, Jeff Brown, in the Department of Electronic Media Communication, part of the College of Media and Entertainment at Middle Tennessee State University.
